anyone had any experience with these bats?
-
i've had a couple and can honestly say that you will find no problem what so ever with these bats
-
I'd rather look for a lower grade bargain than spend that much personally.
You won't go far wrong with a 606 - 808
I love a 404 I got from Jake so there's definite more value in the lower grades than the top of the range models with GM.
Just my opinion though.

OLE's are stunning to look at.

Performance wise, like any brand you expect the top end to be extremely good, but there's nothing to say something from the mid ranges won't perform just as well.

IMHO, Looks wise - Asad's Pro range beat the GM OLEs (On the whole) for me and are not £400.
However, for brand, history, reliability etc. Can't go wrong with a GM :)

Are these the only 2 in Stock
Also what are they selling for?
How do they compare to GN Custom made bats?

Is it possible to go into GM factory to get OLE. What is the process for this?

No, GM don't even allow retailers to visit to handpick their stock.
We sell OLE's for £399 with free delivery. I have a few others in stock, please PM me to discuss.

Do they keep separate ole for pros ?
Any way if getting hold of gm le pro bats?
-
They do a players bat and I am yet to see a bad one, unlike some of the LE models.

No not bad, like most brands some are better than others.

In my honest opinion mate the OLE is not a model I would but from GM. They make great bats GM but the value in lower ranges such as 808 and 909 is a far better bet.
If you want a new bat and want to try something new as Jake at Vitas about B&S mate truly stunning for £230 odd pounds for there LE.

Anyone heard of eclipse all sports ?
-
Yeah I'm looking to get some gear from them, looks like the softs are similar to salix ones.

The original LE pads are the best pair I've ever owned mate.
Only ever gone for original gloves as I prefer the towel backed thumb but they're top quality too.

Used a Flare OLE for a season. Thought it went okay, but wasn't a super special bat. I thought it lacked power, compared to other bats, but I stuck with it, hoping it would 'open up' and become a monster. It didn't so I moved on...
I haven't tried any of the lower end bats - be interesting to see how they travel.

I had an OLE a few years back and it never performed as well as I'd hoped for the price. Might just be that particular bit of wood. I changed to a GN Oblivion LE and had a Legend which I found much nicer, although now the legends have gone up to an insane price

Can't go far wrong with OLEs although taking a mallet to 909s and Originals might surprise you. If not buying over the web and handpicking at a retailer's, try and grab one you feel might by pressed softer than is the norm for GMs. They can be clunky to start but open up nicely. Need patience and perseverance though but will last you a long time. Good value if longevity's your main concern. Personally, I own a Players' Edition and a few 909s and 808s. Nothing I've EVER used compares to the soft-pressed PE Icon. I dread the day it sees its last.

Bought an Argon LE from a forum member recently. Beautiful bat, mid to high middle and only sold it on as I have a couple of Affinity bats now and it wasn't going to be used.
It was a beautiful piece of willow and very responsive off the mallet but there was something about the balance I couldn't quite put my finger on...
