Title: SS Heritage - pleasant surprise
Post by: Stayjohnson on May 15, 2014, 07:25:03 AM
I picked up a bat from Online Stockist to use as a net bat. My brother was placing an order, so I thought, why not? The thing is an absolute gun! After a few messages, some pictures etc (really good service). I picked up an SS Heritage for £70 (slightly discounted due to delivery, and the fact the SF Sapphire I wanted was unavailable).

He sent me a load of pics of bats that would meet the spec I gave him. I chose one with 10 straight grains (the smallest blemish just under the stickering), 2.10, 41mm edges, low middle. Got a couple pairs of gloves for stupidly cheap too. I'd highly recommend them, just not if you need anything quickly... For £70 this bat is a ridiculous bargain. I've spent far more on bats that have been terrible in comparison.

Had a couple of buckets on the machine and a quick net. Really impressed with it. Will post pics when I have time.

My brother picked up a bat, pads and gloves too. Delivery came to £20 in total which is reasonable!

BTW have you managed to get your hands on the SF Sapphire? If so how is it?

No photos?

Come on, don't be a spoil sport!
