I am need of a new bat.
budget: £350-£400
i play quite a high level hence few weeks back played against abdul razzak
thinking of going with GM or GN ??
Ideally want a bat that should last me 2 to 3 seasons atleast.
-
you've come to the wrong place if you want people to endorse you spending £400 on a GN or GM.
you'd be better off spending £400 on two bats from one of the smaller batmakers on here, which is more likely to last you a couple of seasons.
take a look at what's on offer from B3 and Blank Bats and you'll be impressed by the quality on offer

i've already got a net bat...my match bat broke...so i need 1 more bat not 2.

Think what rich is getting at, is that for 400 notes you could easily get two custom made sticks from a forum bat maker on here, rather than forking out that much for a single bat from a big named brand.
-
I have plenty of GM and GN options to suit. I have the GM pictures to hand but can provide photos of other bats when I get to the shop later today.

As richthekeeper says, there are plenty of top end bats that will not cost as much. I have some lovely B&S stock in at the moment, their top of the range bat is £230 from us.
Send me a pm if you want to discuss mate.

I was so angry with one of the lads I coach forking out £350 for a GN Powerbow Generation X LE.
It just isn't worth it - branding in action.
If you are hell bent on spending £350-£400, speak to Dave @ B3. They will produce you something EXACTLY to your specifications. This will include crown wood (Grade 1+), pressing, shape etc.
However, as said, you could get two Grade 1 bats from the forum guys here for the price of one GM OLE or GN LE.

cheers Jake, I'll pm u.

For that kind of money you can buy a Laver I'd have thought?
-
Please take a look at our website and videos to see what we do and how we do it. Why spend that kind of money on a production bat when you could design your own?

why design my own, when GM meet all my requiremnts !!!!!

i understand you want to promote your business, it clearly evident by your tone.

Well then why come asking for a bat on here, if GM already meet your requirements! Seems simple - buy a GM if they are perfect for you already :)

You asked for Advice and Dave gave you his.
No need to be snide about it. Anyways, there are plenty of other options that aren't overpriced such as GM or Gn.
What about the aforementioned B3? Uzi sports pro bats? Hitshard? BB? H4L?

Nothing worse than showing a bit of sarcasm now and again

Googly, can you teach me the googly ?
-
If it is between GM or GN...I would recommend sticking with GM.

I don't understand what advice you want if you have already made your mind up that GM suits

Got more than you bargained for there Googly!
Hope you haven't been put off - it will pay you to have a look at the quality bats that the batmakers on this forum produce.
It's certainly opened my eyes.
Since you're a decent batsman, do yourself a favour and talk to any one of the highly skilled batmakers on this forum, and for the kind of money you want to spend, they'll hand-pick you one of the finest willow clefts and they'll craft you a beautiful bat that perfectly suits you and your game, looks gorgeous and pings like knicker elastic. You'll never look back. :)

Welcome to the forum Googly - I have had a nuber of top of the range GM and GN bats. They are superb bats, but to be honest I have found other bats from custom makers equally good but less expensive.
I think people are only trying to help you to save money on your purchase ;)
But if your mind is made up about either GM or GN, then I would speak to some of the retailers on here....Uzi Sports, Vitas, etc and they will be able to get you a beauty.

Go with Uzi Pro bats, guaranteed performance

asad, these pro bats of yours, how good are they ?
are they pressed softly or hard?
for the price you are selling the pro bats, any other bats that would match the performance of your pro bats as you claim they are top notch.
-
are the pro bats available to be made custom....or is there only 1 shape it comes in ?

I could give 50 different brand bats to 10 people and their opinion of the top 3 bats would vary!
