I hit it that hard once a year if I'm lucky, and that occasion is usually airborne and picks out a fielder :(

i agree with you if i do hit it nicely its straight to a fielder

It might be that his contract only requires him to use GM bats in matches, not net practice.

Tell me if I'm wrong but it looks like he's hitting bowling machine balls, which might explain its delightful sound - they come off the face somewhat differently to the leather counterparts we're used to.

aren't they using ODI white balls ???
