Post by: Warneymonster on May 30, 2014, 08:48:04 AM
Anyone going to the oval tonight? Am on the OCS balcony, I'm the chubby lad who looks like he's had too much sun and way too much drink

Shame kp is "injured"...yet played most of the ipl with that injury. Probably 2M had something to do with that

Not tonight but I'll be there next week for the Essex game - after a week in Magaluf on a supposed "Cricket Tour" that is... were actually playing Mallorca CC when we're out there, could be interesting

Yeah I'll be there, me and a few mates bought some season tickets hoping to see Smith and Pietersen dominate...  :(

At least forecast is decent. Been a distinct lack of cricket all round this summer so far

There was a crash between two lorries on the anti-clockwise side earlier. Beer barrels and wood all over the place.

The beer better not have been on the way to the Oval!

Bit of a late question. But did they give a reason, or is there a reason that has been made public beforehand, why Davies is not keeping for Surrey these days?

Obviously wants to concentrate on getting some sort of form with the bat, he must be comfortable with his keeping if he's happy not to do it. Wilson is keeping well and we also have Burns so its not a major problem from a team point of view
