Title: My Bowling

Ok right, long story so i kinda bowl weird well i said weird let me explain.

I bowl legspin well i think it is, its out of the back of my hand standard leg spin action. but mine pitch on off and hit leg. so does that mean my stock ball is off spin, or leg spin googly, hmmm

Yeah seems like your stock ball is a googly if its coming out the back of the hand

yh, but im meant to be bowling leg spin, its bowled just like legspin, exactly the same but it turns like off spin, could it be my grip, or what?

No its the fact its coming out the back of your hand, leg spinners come out the side.

Top spin comes out the side, leg spin comes out of the front of the hand. Theres some videos of warnes on youtube somehwere.

oh yh just had a look mine does come straight out the back, quite easy to change tho, just bowl it slightly differently

Leg break - Otherwise known as the leg-spinner, this is the stock delivery of the leg spinner. The term leg break is easily explained - the ball spins away from the leg side and thus ‘breaks’ away from the leg. Problematic because the ball moves away from the body of the right-handed batsman (from leg-side to off-side), the line and length can also be varied by the spinner to apply extra pressure and utilise any assistance from the pitch. Delivered by gripping the ball across the seam and released from the front of the hand, with the fingers offering some extra spin

what is it mean by delivered from the front of the hand, it dont see how leg spin can be delivered from the front

So make it so the ball is being held in the thumb and index more, so more to the front, if you understand

thats me alright, i havent got a clue what variation i bowl they just happen everyone is different

you see i was never taught how to bowl i just did it, and its well different.

some time mine pitch and staighten, sometimes there leg some times there off. Some turn a mile some hardly turn at all.

well i only bowled 5 overs last season cuz the manager thought i was crap, but these were my figures

1st Match

Overs Maidens Runs Wickets
4       1           7      2

2nd Match

Overs Maidens Runs Wickets
1        0            1    3

out of them 5 wickets.

2 were bowled
1 was caught in the fielding
1 was lbw
1 was caught and bowled

and i mostly bowled right arm round (yes i know...)

i bowl the same way mate when i try leggies, but my figures are never as good as that ! :L

those figures were in the middle of the season i didnt get  a bowl again
