I've been asked by our junior coaches to look at purchasing a coaching mat as below.

I've not seen this type of training aid, so just wondered if anyone has used them and if they are any good? Currently our juniors are very young (under 11) as we have only recently re-instated our junior teams, so are looking at teaching the basics.
I can understand the thought behind it, but my initial thought is £200 seems a bit steep for what it is.

Don't really se ethe point to be honest. Would be very good for 1-1 coaching, but you couldnt do any group coaching with it as it would take forever! Kwik cricket tees on the floor (front foot), and on top of a kwik cricket stump (back-foot) are all thats required an come in at 1/20 of the price I reckon!
