I haven't used the CA ones. But I have a pair of the GN ultimate thigh pads and they are more comfortable than the aero' I tried in the shop. They are $50, so not expensive.

The CA stuff is only an inner and outer thigh pad, nowhere near the aero gear.

The Kooka pro guards have been very popular.

I have the kookaburra Pro 500's, I like them because they are very comfortable and easy to run in for matches, the protection isn't great but i'm not facing any Mitchell Johnson's.

Feel free to PM me if you want to know anything more

That is what i have heard and with me playing quite a decent level of cricket and have been told the  500 wouldn't be ample enough protection even though they are a great price.

What level do you play at?

Can't blame you, a ball travelling much over 115 km/h would certainly be felt  ;), I believe that the pro versions are very similar in design meaning they would still be comfortable but have better protection, it might be worth having a look, although they are pretty pricy

First grade( which they pick the bulls from)

Thanks. I live in Australia, so I know how the system works anyway. That's great that you are playing at such a high standard, I would be lucky to make 6th grade. See what works for you, and you may consider getting custom made if you play at such a high standard.

Are Remfry's too expensive for you as well? They are pricey, $130 outer, $70 inner, plus $10 AU postage.

I didnt know if remfry is still doing anything for the public, his website looks really old so i wasnt 100% convinced he is making for the general public as i have been told he is just doing it for the pros now

I'm not so sure either, but if he hasn't taken his website down, it probably means he is still seling to the public. See of you can contact him, and if not, you might have to go back to the aeros.
