At least with the 'misbah' bat from Asad, you can just stand there and launch the ball to the boundary!!!
No need for running

I got one on the ankle of a Yorker in indoor nets last season. Took about 2 weeks to clear up, this is about 3 days later

Thanks mate did they put yours in plaster as mine is until they have their X-ray meeting tomorrow it's not a tight plaster as they said they got to allow for swelling just hope I get good news and don't have to have it in plaster for two long and was your ankle cracked or just bruised  :)

Had an X-Ray but no plaster, they just told me to rest it and minimise the pressure I put on it until the swelling and bruising started to go away

Last year I had a discussion with Fanie de Villiers on this subject and he told how the players recover from such
injuries so fast when normally it takes weeks.

If there is no broken bone or fracture, physiotherapists come into play. It is a really painful process as they use the pressure points near the injury to release the stuck blood and allow the normal blood flow. Once the blood flow is improved, the swelling goes down significantly and recovery process is fastened. International players also use oxygen chambers to fasten the recovery.
