After seeing Fattus's Caerulex I saw this for sale and decided to see what all the fuss is about. I met Tony a few months back so know what the man can do a draw knife and plane.
Bat is a lot heavier than I usually use but doesn't pick up like as heavy as I would think. I don't have the fastest bat speed so thought the extra weight might give me a bit more value for my shots
Bat
Weight - 3lb 03oz
Grains - 8 with couple of blemishes so not a true grade 1
Edge - 40mm
Toe - 25mm
Shoulder - 20mm
Spine - 61mm
Stickers says it's longer handle but only by about 7/8mm

Not as pretty as brucies County but love the shape and hope I can get away with the extra weight otherwise it could be coming up on the for sale section
Initial thoughts after knocking in for around half an hour is that it's nicely pressed, not too hard and not too soft, slight marks left on the face so least I can see where I've tapped it.
Tempted to get myself a lignum mallet!

She looks a brute of a bat! Way too heavy for this lightweight I'm afraid!
Love those stickers though minimalistic and classy.

The bat looks good...but the stickers are in a different class, the ultimate in retro.
-
I must admit I do like the stickers, I am thinking about losing the 5 crowns to make it even more minimalistic.
Also have a spare set of stickers which will come in handy for when it/if it needs refurbing

That bat looks like something viv would wield. Both in size and looks

Lovely profile and love the stickers too!

Like the look of these but that doesn't look *that* imposing for the weight?
