No mate not crown just about a 377 density or so when i did one of my days there i was finishing off William Root bat the one he got 200 with and this was the sahpe but i wanted one lighter and Streaky found the cleft for me.

Shame i may have a fractured thumb might have to wait a bit to use it.. >:(  in anger i should knock it in a tad more

This might sound like a stupid question, but what is the benefit with double grips?

Not at all some well most of our players like a double bind on the string but i wanted a double grip just my set up some say it aids pick up but i just like the feel on some bats.

Little update on this bat.

This is my number one bat with my special players sample bat this bat was a exact replica of a international captains bat and is 100 per cent the same as the players bat as we make him a few too.

The kalimarr will be picked very soon which in my eyes has the best shape we have ever produced even if streaky doesn't.

I have been out for two months but been working on wrist strength and find I like slightly heavier bats currently.

Funny that netting it is then got a few shapes to try out

Haha yes the 1271 I have gets mentioned but I like this the NB pro shapes and the new kalimarr designed to bridge the gap between the 1271 which is heavy at 2-15 in 400 density or the kalimarr which is around 2-12 in the same dencity.

But I guess he is the expert who has designed some if te most Iconic shapes around for the last few years oth here and his old place of work.

Surely there is a bit of you who thinks "My shape is better... Streaky can't even play cricket!" Haha. ;)

Yeah the 1271 is great because of the balance (weight distribution of the shape is ideal). However, unless you are Trott, you will be getting a cleft which will make it very heavy.

I like both. Very nice.

You can get the 1271 down to 2-10 2-9 like i did.

It is also available to the general public in that weight but will need a density 350 cleft to make it so.

Nope when you meet streaky you understand he knowns about profile and shapes i just enjoy his company and the learning process it brings.

He is slightly mad mind!!!!
