Looks a lesser extreme of a laver ultra.

I'd love to know how it picks up well as it looks very ugly and bottom heavy. I've waved an Ultra about and it was not only ugly but picked up poorly too for the weight. But it's all about the performance I guess, how does it net?

No mate there a lot of wood in the top end i will show you a 2-7 bat by it side to show the difference mate also has a double bind which adds weight...

Looks really big, does the double bind mean it was the wrong handle size or has it been added to increase the dead weight?

Each to there own because there alot of wood closer to the hands in the shoulders it picks up very very well i can assure you of this.

No nets just can feel the spring in the bat.

The player never left his handle set so they kind of re did it to get a handle set.

I have a GN Powerspot that is the right dead weight but has a poor pick up and was told to get a double bind on it to increase the dead weight but improve the pick up. It doesn't have the edges like this but is weighted low.

Weight closer to the hand helps pick up the shoulders on this bat are big and it balances out and the bind is added weight so i guess it does help with balance as well.

That's humungous for a 2-7. With your broken thumb, you should send this monster my way... ;)

looks like a 2.11/2/12 bat or even more, what was the wood density of the cleft it was made from?

Not sure it was in the sample pile with a few others which will be sold off at our 2nd birthday.

I sorted through and this caught my eye because of the shape.

Some of the players initial sample bats will be bargains big bargains

With the extra bind it comes in at 2-8.

Bat weight is around 2-5ish

It is bigger than a bat i have here at 2-11 and a half been tapping one handed all day

Do you know what the density of the cleft was to get that beast so light Dave??

(And can you hand pick one of these birthday bargain bats for those unable to make the trip up north to do it themselves?)
