Title: L&W Reserve and Special Reserve
Post by: ursmasti on July 09, 2014, 03:46:16 PM: Few weeks back Laver and Wood was running a promotion for first 5 buyer who buy reserve would get a free net bat as soon i saw it i reached out to Anthony at Laver and i am happy to say that i made right call and ordered the bats. I am so excited that i am not sure what all i need to say about these bats. I will let the pictures do the talking. PS- i am not pro photographer so pictures might not make justice to the bats how they look and play.

Bat 1: Reserve

Here is what i got and it has almost 15 grains and perfectly balanced with awesome ping and no concaving

This is the a special bat , it weights 2.10 with 2 grips but yet feel like 2.9 and most surprising is it has 44mm edges .. i will let the pictures make the talking

Usually they give you grade 2/3 bat as net bat but in my case James has offered to upgrade me to Special reserve which is grade 1 Performance instead of Elite grade 1 reserve which is the original bat.

Post by: Chad on July 11, 2014, 11:05:36 PM: Looking lovely, the Mega profile looks massive! Very nice of James to upgrade you to a Special Reserve, and I much prefer the new SR sticker. Is the Reserve based on my shape? To be honest, I think my shape is just a variation on James' 'Special' profile, but I'm still going to claim it as mine. ;) Hope you enjoy them, if the Reserve is anything like mine, it will be incredible pretty much from the start. Didn't need to play in my Laver much at all!
