Afternoon gents,
Not been on here for a while but a guy at my club has just purchased a Neon bat (well her purchased it a while back but ive only just seen it)
Bat looks like an average piece of wood, nothing special but it seems to play pretty well.
Who is making the bats for Neon? I checked the Neon website and they allude to themselves making them but I cant see that given that the address is a Home address as opposed to a unit?
Are they English made?

Neon cricket is a poster on here, sure he will help you out .... Seems to be a nice bloke
-
I doubt he will dish out info on who is making his bats... lol
-
With details of his gear he will and I'm sure he will confirm they are English made or not. Pretty sure they are.

"All our Willow is Grown in Essex and Hand Crafted just 60 miles from its source, English cricket bats through and through."
A quote from the website. So think where the willow is sourced and then have a look to see what bat makers there are within that sort of range and you have your answer.
Adam is a top lad and I can vouch for the quality of the Neon softs but i have never used one of the bats........stickered as a Neon anyway!

hmmmmm who's within 60 miles ???

Hi all, for obvious reasons I'd rather not say the exact bat maker but they are indeed made in England for me by an extremely experienced and trusted bat maker. The willow is all English grown and is currently all grade 1, I am looking at offering different grades in the future but for now it's all grade 1 (I have the option for Grade 1+/1/2/3).
I hope that helps, any more questions do fire away!

It always amazes me how many cricket suppliers there are from the very large to small, surely they all can't make money....but good luck to them all.
