1st post on here so wish me luck having swapped over from a rival forum :D :D :D :D
I am off to the Hunts county Factory on Monday to get Custom made bat! I was wondering if anybody else has ever been and had this done?!?!
Would love to hear people's thoughts
look forward to them
cheers
;D

A guy at my club had a bat custom made from the factory this was about 10 years ago though, he sent it back to be refurbed last year but it broke this year. He sent it to them and they sent a brand new one!
The two county bats he has are awesome!
-
That sounds promising then mate! A lad at my club has 1 and swears by it :D
-
I have had a few County bats, and they are probably the best bats I have ever used. started with a Reflex, had a Clipper, then an Insignia. And generally people who buy them stay loyal to them forever.
I haven't because I am a tart and go for the best cometics, probably because I am such a crap batter i might as well look good for the 5 minutes I am at the crease!
-
I've been up many times, Tony's a good batmaker and can make some beautiful profiles if you ask nicely!
-
LOL at lee-roy!! :P you sound just like me!! haha
Do you have any tips for what I should and shouldn't say Tom??
-
Just weigh every handled cleft they have there and try to find a light one is my advice.
-
Ok mate, why a light 1??
-
have not heard anythinmg bad about hunts yet. do take some pics!
btw county are reintroducing the reflex range for the new season
-
Lighter cleft will mean a bigger profile can be achieved on the bat.
-
Any Pics Mus?

cool, how???
-
It will mean they dont have to remove as much wood to achieve the weight wanted.
-
ha so simple :) I can not WEIGHT(get it ;)) to go now....
-
nice pun! pics will be loaded when availble. latest info i have is on readers (will replace bicentennial and virago with phaeton and challenger) ranges and hunts (repalce steelback with reflex).
-
the reflex is coming back? Thats me done for 2010 then , I am all up for some retro kit. I just wish Duncan fearnley would make decent Magnums again.
Thats a great thread actually, best retro stash!
-
I think I'll be getting the clipper stickers on mine tho :) :) :D
-

You selling the gloves cheaper at Itias :D :D :D ???????
£26 posted if you want a set
And Mongoose, no not a batmaker. It's only a relatively small company so there's no role as such.
-
Are they the gloves on the website??? They got side protetion on both hands??? could you email me some other pics of them please???
-
I've had 2 custom bats from Hunts and they were/are superb. I'll be reviewing my current one once winter nets begin as I only used it for 3 games at the end of the season.
-
and oh right tom.....what is your role then?
-
