I need new pads but cant pick a pair to buy. I was wondering if anyone could recommend some?
-
Go to a shop and try some on if you can! Buying pads over the net is hard because the fit of pads varies from brand to brand
-
Everyone has there own views on pads, agree best is to head to a store and see what style you like. Then you can shop around and see where you can snag a bargain. All depends on budget and level you play really, no point buying a 100 pound pair of pads just for the sake of it
-
Its your choice really but I know that both GM and Kookaburra have really good quality pads and the mid to high range ones, ie:808 or 800 are really good for what you pay for them. Hope you find a good pair :D

The BB Limited Edition pads look awesome, think they had a deal on for pads and gloves bought together

If you're on the short side there's a bargain pair of men's Warsop Venom pads going on eBay. They're awesome pads.

I'm highly impressed with the gray nic maverick I bought, so so light, great protection and comfy.
Guys has some powerbow ones that are just as good!
-
...also consider Aldred and Red Ink, I've heard their softs are very good quality.

im currently bidding on these could be a bargain

Salix are very well designed and feel nice and 'wrap around' on the leg, easy to run in and good protection too.

Love my GM Original LEs! Would recommend them highly
808s were nice but the LEs are in a different league

Have a look at the kook recoil pads I have listed in the sale section mate.

He doesn't have enough posts to view the for sale section, but great effort on the self promotion lol (I can honestly say I'd do the same!)

I will also be on the hunt for new pads. Would like
6cm shorter straps
Towel backed inside padding for batting in shorts which can also be removed and washed.
Size youth/small mens cause im a short ass.
Oh minimal branding like pro's have.
