It had to happen, we have best names, so here are what you consider to be the worst ones.
Personally for me, I think a couple of the worst are the GM Six6, which means absolutely nothing to me, other than you're not quite as bad as the beast and then the GN X181... Right, E41 - 41mm Edges, A61, 61mm Apex, but X181? What does that mean? Are you trying to pretend that it's some sort of Sci-Fi Space weapon?
The other one that I think is just daft is the 7EVEN by Newbery. I don't really get what the name is supposed to portray?
What are your naming pet hates?

Anything made by Duck & Run! A bat shouldn't have the word duck on it, end of! >:(
-
I've been told that the six6 comes from being joe root's bat and it is called the six6 as in Route 66 or root 66.
Hope that made some sense
-
Maybe or the perfect over 6x6?
-
The X 181 comes from the 181mm 'sweetspot'. The X stands for extreme so it means extreme 181mm sweetspot
-
County - 747

There's are plans for a sports direct exclusive, the AC 001.
001 for the 1mm sweetspot and AC for awfully cheap! ;)

I agree that Newbery 7EVEN is dire. GM seem to come up with some shockers too: Zona, what's that!? and then it's not just that it's the Zona F2 DMX, nice and simple! What's wrong with the good old days when they called them the Clubman or Cannon. GN World Cup was pretty bat but for me the worst has to be the Duncan Fearnley Batwing!

I thought about mentioning the Batwing. I agree. Terrible name.

Another one is the bat wielded by Ashton Agar in the innings of 98, the Tails Never Fails Mahogany, cricket bats are made of willow!!
-
It wasn't a bat, but the GM Maxi Pads always made me cringe when a team mate told me he was strapping them on.... :(

I like a brand which has a thread/narrative through their names.
Not the easiest thing to do, but it does add a certain coherence.
So, in answering the question, I'd say all brands which seem to throw random names into a product line.

Don't include me in that haha! Don't think I could make it much more simple... (probably a little too simple at times)
