Title: New net bat needed.
Post by: OwzatOllie on August 02, 2014, 02:04:36 PM
Hi chaps and chapesses!

Unfortunately my blank net bat has broken as the handle has come undone (And I was pondering a new one anyway ;) )

Preferably after a blank blade (or a low end Kookaburra to match my kit) for around £100 or less.  I would probably spend £115 at most.

I live in Gloucester, my local bat maker is Martin Berrill who has a selection of blank Hunts County bats around this bracket, (anybody used his bats?) but I wanted to get a couple of other suggestions.

Or I could make a trip to Uzi sports and see what is available

Thanks in advance  :)

I would recommend a trip to Asad, I have bought tonnes of bats from him over the years, never to be disappointed. Word of caution - make sure you take cash and leave your cards at home, as you'll end up buying more than a net bat haha!

You should come visit the barn, few bats to see and use :)

Get a butterfly willow from one of the forum bat makers.  I am trying to get one myself :)

Perfect time for you to get a B3 butterfly mate.
