Title: Sausage VS Interlocking Non-Sausage Gloves
Post by: Slackie on August 05, 2014, 04:50:08 PM
Is there any proof of one type of glove being more comfortable? I myself have always used a Non-sausage glove.

It's probably a personal preference thing more than anything. I used to use sausage, but changed to shark tooth (?) style. I prefer these nowadays

And the reverse holds true for me . I used shark style and now use the normal sausage types and love it . One thing from my experience is that shark toothache are comfortable from start and sausage takes time to break in although my ss le were brilliant from day one .

The SS LE converted me from Modern style to traditional. I find most modern style to oversized where as the traditional finger ones are a bit more compact.

Funny isn't it? I prefer the modern shapes because they are larger - the sausage fingers I generally feel are too small....

Prefer the sausage finger designs - the pre-bent fingers are much nicer than putting on some segmented 'flat' gloves.  I've also found the segmented gloves squeak, which for me is distracting!

We're a fickle bunch but again all personal preferences.

I would swear by modern shaped gloves before

I use one of each, my left hand loves classic designs, but the right hand favors a more modern look!

Number of the bigger brands are now making combo gloves, giving sausage protection on the fingers most likely to get hit, and split on the other fingers.

I've got a personal preference for sausage and I'm very uninterested in so much colour on gloves.
