Title: New Balance 2014 / 2015
Post by: Bowlers Name Please on August 14, 2014, 12:10:10 PM
Spotted on Saxon Sports website, New Balance bats and softs in a lower grade for next season. Should hopefully be a bit easier on the wallet especially for the bats. Personally love the colour scheme.

Bats listed as grade 3 & 4 respectively.

Softs come in two grades. (880 / 580)

All a bit loud but can see the reason behind a new range.

Funnily the stickers have been on eBay before the bats were announced though  ???

Too much going on IMO - those gloves do look awful

Yeah, not a massive fan of the gloves but good to see NB offer a cheaper range as I know a couple of people that liked the original bats but were priced out by the rrp.

The colours on these are going down the route of most running trainers these days. Loud !!

I managed to get a look at the 2015 NB gear when I visited Uzi Sports on Tuesday. Thankfully the blue kit is not coming to the UK.

Gloves look good in the flesh, stickers are a massive improvement too, metallic and embossed.

Most of the bright colour will be hidden when using them. I hope the colours don't run onto your trousers.

I saw some of the NB stuff a few weeks ago (left overs from last season I think). All shrink wrapped in plastic, giving me the opinion another range of bats made out of India for a fraction of the price and still charging premium dollar to the end customer.

Saw the new range in GCCC the other day. Glad I saw the pads close up as they looked pretty flimsy really. Bit disappointing if you ask me. New bats looked and picked up great however.

Looks like the gloves (or the colors rather) are designed to distract the bowlers.. ;)

Has anyone ever used one of the bats? Never seen a review or anyone using one.
