There nasty, Nike lead the way to 2010 with regards to footwear !!!
Am getting a few pairs of nike spikes before Christmas if anyone's interested ? (their not from India !!!)
-
No real changes to the ones from last year. Just the small gold bits.
-
Its like they want to be in the cricket market, but come across like they can't be arsed, just tweaking the original models from 2005 that were red.
Since 2005, they have gone red (2005), dark blue (2006), lighter blue (2007/8), black (2009), black/ gold (2010), with no real change to the structure of the boots as far as I can see. They just change colours in the hope that addicts like us will keep buying.
Same with their bats/ softs- it all seems a bit half hearted!
-
Theyre probably going to have gold stripes but they will have given him a pair of blacked out ones!

ever heard of " if it isnt broken, dont fix it?"
-
ye, why change something that obviously works and is tried and tested? minor cosmetic alterations and colour changes is all adidas need to do.
-
i agree with slogger2 and stubbzy - Adidas have been successful from the outset. its not as if other brands release new shoe technology every year is it? the do the same - cosmetic changes
-
I agree with that, but why change the cosmetics EVERY year without fail? Its just profiteering. I was just summing up my thoughts about their entire cricket effort, really. I am very loyal to adidas, all my clothes and trainers are adidas and I wouldnt buy anything else. I just think the cricket gear doesnt match the rest of their output and is a disappointment generally.
Might be controversial, but were you really excited when KP first wore it all, or did you just think, hmmm, could have been better???

i was excited, something new on the market another company with big pockets trying to push the sport further
