Title: Spartan MC1000
Post by: Rothowl on August 20, 2014, 05:52:18 PM
Just taken delivery of an MC1000 size 4. A little underwhelmed if I'm honest namely the tooth pick of a handle!!

Taps up pretty well, let's see how it performs.

What were you expecting from a size 4??
And is it for you??  ;)

Yeah course it's for me.......

The handle is half the thickness of other size 3 and 4 bats on the market, when I say toothpick I'm hardly exaggerating.

It's going back I'm afraid, compared it to 3 different size 3 bats today and it is no bigger than any of them!!

I think I sensed a hint of sarcasm in that reply.

I sense stupidity in the whole thread.

Sareen handles are very thin this season, especially on junior bats. Can't say I've ever noticed a drastic sizing issue though. Every brand has a different definition of each size though of course. I often line up say 10 bats that are size x in front of a child, all the kookaburras are different to the GM's, the GN's are different again. It's a bit of a minefield.
