I reached out to James to order a Signature and after he processed some clefts here is what he said could make good clefts . What do you guys think ? Middle bat and the right one is signature clefts.

The middle cleft for me personally, as I prefer minimal heartwood, if any. What kind of weight are you after, and where abouts in the world do you stay? The Special profile is a good choice, as it gives a large playing area. :)

Also, what happened to your Reserve and Special Reserve? I wouldn't purchase a Signature yet if you still have them! Just play around with them, and find out if they suit you well. In terms of weight, from now on, I'm going to try specify an ounce and a half lighter than what I'm actually after, as it will most likely end up an ounce MAX above the weight I actually want. :D

I sold my reserve and special as they gained lot of weight.i decided to order almost 2 oz lighter to my weight so even if it picks weight it will be still under weight i am after.

If you are lefty then go with the one on right, edges will last longer..

I am a right handed batsmen.
Chad i am after weight 2.9 including stickers, toe guard and grip. I am from usa and play on little to none bouncy pitches.
