Title: Sticker Dilemma...
Post by: Chad on September 09, 2014, 09:04:55 PM
So, just finished taking weight off my B&S which was apparently destined for a Test player. (Was advertised as a 2.12 dressed, but was actually 2.13 and a bit) Now it's naked, and could do with some stickers! Question is, which ones...

I'd stick the first set of Mongoose stickers on it...
Or keep it blank, a clean faced bat can look classy as hell!

Cheers for the suggestions, went for the shiny Mongoose ones! I dunno why, but I don't like to keep my top end bats plain. It looks nice, but I just like to dress them in something that will compliment the looks!

your grip doesn't go with the stickers, a purple grip will do better me thinks

Nice stick Chad. My vote would have been to leave it blank as well. I have to admit that the Mongoose stickers look decent and I agree with The Palmist that the grip and the stickers are a mismatch.

Hi chad sorry you got a 1 ounce and a bit heavier bat than originally advertised we do try to be very accurate when we specify weights the blade looks in very good nick and with the weight reduction hopefully you score many more runs it's  just a pity mongoose will get all the praise as the ball wings it's way to the boundary
Regards
B&S

You could solve this problem by sending him some stickers... ;)

Worth a try  ;)

Really like the look of your new softs by the way. Would probably invest if I was in the UK!

You could say that about half the professionals I'm sure! I do see where you're coming from though, and rest assured, B&S will get the praise it deserves! I also still have this one afterall, just felt like some variety!

If I do decide to chop and change after the new stickers are revealed, I shall be in contact! ;) Fantastic bat, it now weighs 2.11 on the nose!

I presume in this case it's because it's not going on a B&S bat - don't blame them tbh, if you sell stickers and they're put onto a dud bat then it just devalues your own product

Yep, completely agree and completely understand.
