Post by: RSpall on September 11, 2014, 12:15:08 PM
I'm looking for somewhere that will put logo's on kit that I sell? It's all completely plain at the moment but it would look nicer If I can get something of my own put on there? Thoughts and ideas???

You cannot put logos on softs once they have been made!  :D

Were you planning to Rebrand the plain softs you got from online stockist?  ;)

thanks for the guidelines. I have been selling a bit so far to see how it would go and i was going to do the same with the bats to see what people would buy them for all as a start up process.

I would eventually look to find a maker for both bats and pads. any help would be much appreciated.

I've seen an idea that went well actually although no pics.

Amazon sell t shirt transfer print paper. Buy it for "DARK" t shirts.
Use your inkjet printer to print your log onto it.
Cut it out.
use an iron to heat up the transfer so it sticks to the leather.

Wallah. Branded os softs.

The person that uses this method make various things.  But one that stood out was his keyring. A few years on and the transfer is still there and very visible.

Wallah. Branded os softs.

I think the word you are looking for is Voila (well a-grave actually but the software doesn't like that...) (French expression for "there it is")  rather than Wallah (which is an Arabic word for "I swear to Allah") ;)

sorry for being a little pedantic this morning ;)

Based in South of England (West Sussex). Drop me a message if you need me to more specific.

Curious because I'm designing some branding currently.

No I didn't try that. I'm not sure if I want to let this information out for everyone to see. My method and would be hundreds within 5 minutes if I said.

So, your willing to ask others how to do it, but not to answer then same question by return. Nice

Just saying!

I'm asking for their method of how they go about it, not their dealers. Slight difference there.

Yeah ok fair enough, I think I misunderstood what you meant when you said "made"

To be honest with you, I was just being curious - I literally have 0% intention of using any other method than the one I have currently, if you don't want to share then that's fine but don't expect anything back from anyone on here!

You can screen print logos onto pads and gloves. Some manufacturers do it, and it can be done post manufacture

Neoncricket read what I said, I'm interested in people's methods! I haven't asked for the phone number to their dealer. I'm just intrigued as a new comer how people go about it.

And people were interested in your method but you've gone all defensive claiming we wanted to know your supplier...

Nope, it's definitely you that is confused!!

It was a simple question with, I'm sure, a simple answer. I just asked what your method was, if you don't want to share then that's fine - I'm not going to lose any sleep over it mate.

To answer your question, our logos are fully embossed and sewn into the softs by the manufacturer, like the majority of other brands.

Ha I'm asking people because I'm yet to have a method. I'm buying kit from abroad of which they have now said they do logo's so I'm sorted.
