Title: Best Scoring App?
Post by: TangoWhiskey on September 12, 2014, 09:57:22 AM
I have purchased a tablet for my club so we can do scoring on it. Does anyone know of any decent apps for this? I have downloaded the TCS one but it doesn't do cool things like wagon wheels etc.

Anyone have any ideas?

I've found Android Cricket Scorer which is free or the Plus version for £3 by Tim Carter to be the most straightforward apps that have all the features you need, such as wagon wheels but are easy to use.
CricHQ app I've tried but despite the league I score for having its fixtures pre loading into it, with squads already set up etc, and having been on  CricHQ's training session, I can't get on with it and it quite buggy in that you can get stuck on particular pages mid game and you can't exit it, no use in the middle of a match. So it promises alot of features but doesn't manage to be good enough at it's core task of scoring.
