This year has seen the departure of several big name players - Smith, Kallis, Jaywardene, North, etc but what about the county stalwarts that have left. The name I would offer a fond farewell to is David Sales. He scored over 14,000 runs in 249 first-class games, at an average of almost 40. A colt with Surrey, debuted for Northamptonshire in 96 where he then remained for the rest of his career. Unlucky to have missed out on an England shirt.
Who will you folks miss most?

Big Dave who played in our 4th team!

Huw Waters. Poor bloke has been suffering from Dystonia. Very decent bowler on his day.
Only 27.
