Who's the most stylish batsmen guys. I think it's got to be either Mohammad Yousuf or VVS Laxman.
-
Flintoff
-
David warner
-
Steve Smith
-
Gordon Greenidge
Saeed Anwar
-
Flintoff
Haha i know some club cricketers more stylish then him
-
Play wise I always loved the flamboyance of Sehwag and Lara.
-
Ian Bell has some nice traditional shots.
Richie Richardson's floppy hat was stylish too.
-
Saeed Anwar played beautiful shots especially in his 194 against India.
-
Thorpe, could've watched him bat all day!

Thorpe, could've watched him bat all day!
Yeah, I'd second that. Looks good AND wore a headband.
-
Joe root has a new style of batting, opens up his shots to 360 degrees.
-
Nearly forgot about Muttiah Muralitharan playing those over head swats through midwicket like he was playing tennis.
-
Back in the day and when in form Alex Stewart was class as was Thorpe and also Ramprakash
Modern day Ponting, even though his Aussie was simply class
One also that catches my eye is Ballance
-
Azarhuddin, Gower and Thorpe for me. Although (in Gower and thorpe) I think lefties are more pleasing on the eye.
-
Mark Waugh; Richie Richardson; Gower.

Very ture they just make shots look more classy

This! Lefties always look more elegant/stylish at the crease.
-
Ian Bell is one of the most stylish. I used to like to watch Graeme Hick in full flow
-
Ricky Ponting - though I agree with the lefties sentiment.
-
A Ricky Ponting in full flow was always a pleasure to watch, and somebody who got me interested in cricket by watching him. I'm a bit bias but I enjoy watching Clarke bat.. especially using his feet to spinners, one of - if not - the best at it!
-
Damien Martyn for days, so relaxed and his timing was incredible.

Yeah, was just about to say this. Unbelievable timing
Watch this people: 2 effortless fours in cricket, timing from the heavens. Block = 4 runs. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gY-r1HSqx3M#)
-
That video is amazing!! Never seen anything quite like that before.
-
No contest. Mark Waugh. Those leg side shots
-
Mark Waugh; Richie Richardson; Gower.
This. Although I'd substitute Carl Hooper for Richie Richardson.
-
Mark Waugh or Brian Lara for me, though Michael Vaughan briefly threatened to reach that level of style and class in 2003/4
-
Yep, Damien Martyn and Mark Waugh, although a little bit different, loved watching Nathan Astle bat.
-
loved watching Darren Lehmann bat, but he was something slightly different...
-
David Gower, Mark Waugh.
-
I'm a huge ponting fan, my favourite bat, but not sure you could class him as stylish, certainly brilliant at managing his game. I reckon we could squeeze Sangakarra in as well. Watching Mark Waugh bat is something else, he makes it look so easy.
-
Sir Viv was always amazing to watch.
-
Brian Charles Lara and that drive.....
-
Robin Smith would be one of mine.
-
Robin Smith would be one of mine.
Until they bought a spinner on! :(
-
Inzamam and Rohit Sharma; when playing a proper shot, you could watch their shots for numerous times without getting bored :D
-
I would say Saeed Anwar and Brian Lara
-
In my minds eye, I am the most stylish batsman I know (particularly the leave).
However, when I watch myself on video, I have to admit to myself the horrible truth - that Lara just about shades it!

Where does Dwayne Leverock come on this list? I'm assuming third, just behind yourself Mr Cattus?
-
Does this not just ooze class!

How did forget about Dwanye he's the best. Handy "little" spinner
-
That man is a cricketing legend. I want to get a poster of him, be like him, have the same kit as him and share some fried chicken with him!
-
I don't think he would share any of his food with anyone.

He is actually my idol!
He got Flintoff & Pietersen out in the same game and took that ground shaking catch, living legend!!
-
Is it me or is that bat too small
-
Though not world-class players, Vikram Solanki and Steve Davies at Surrey at both very elegant.
-
I want to add Marvan Atapattu to the list as well. When he was on he had great shots, especially that cover drive!
-
Mark Waugh and Damien Martyn
-
Michael Vaughan was pretty classy to watch
-
Can't believe no mentions for Mahela or Kallis!! Could watch those bat all day. Also used to enjoy watching Martyn and Vaughan bat. Of current players Kane Williamson is very easy on the eye, as is Ian Bell.
-
Bell and Amla!
-
ive enjoyed watching nick compton when he plays for somerset. certainly plays more shots then when he was with england he also ussually doesnt open which would help
-
trott bell or martyn

-
And here's a languid pair

I also like Bell when he gets all back cutty

- I've just had a flashback to the film 'Twins'.
-
Tom Graveney ;)
-
In terms of style:
Brian Lara great shots (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_Tz6l0cGv8#)
Most natural looking batsman eer
-
Mark Waugh and Lara
-
Inzamam al Haq.
just awesome.
*RARE* Inzamam-ul-Haq 184 Vs India (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLFdvU6zJFU#)
oh and Carl Hooper - it always looked so easy for him.
