Post by: xmncx on September 18, 2014, 06:22:04 PM
Hello gents,

Please see attached photo's of a GN Fusion I have picked up;

(http://s18.postimg.org/o7a4pub4l/photo_3.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/o7a4pub4l/)

(http://s18.postimg.org/um95mihud/photo_4.jpg) (http://postimg.org/image/um95mihud/)

My question is, can any of you create me a custom G1 bat to my specs but recycle the fusion handle?
The handle is super light so i'm hoping you can use as much wood as possible to achieve a big thick powerful bat but get the final weight to around 2.8/2.9.

thanks in advance

it can be done, but it wont save you any weight, handles weight very littel. the reason for that handle is stiffness.

. Don,t know if you already know this
the  idea behind the carbon handle was that you can keep the weight within the blade therefore giving you a bigger profile as the weight of
The carbon fibre handle is less than a 1/3 of the weight of traditional cane handles.

Yeah I have read that about the weight of the handle being low to make the blade bigger but the blade isn't actually that big compared to some modern bats. I just wanted to know if anyone could actually do the job
