A few new bats I thought I would share with you guys
GN lucky 7 bought from Jake 2.9 minimal concaving and just massive for the weight. Clean blade a little blemish on the edge. Pick up is superb and so well balanced.
GN Vortex bought from PD light weight but in would say its 2.10. Pick up is ok and as always on this the stickers are peeling away. This bat does ping though really does tap up so well.
M&H CK22 this was a replacement for a amplus I bought a few months ago that spilt clean in half straight through the blade. Basically was riddled with storm damage which they missed apparently so after a few grumpy chats they offered me this. The finishing is ok and the blade is quite clean but for the top end offering not the greatest. One thing that I can't take away from
M&H is that they play well and on first impressions this is no different. Pings like a pinky thing in pingy land.
Kook Kahuna 600 bought from Jake again and could t believe it hadn't sold lovely looking bat for the model and I have had a few kahunas and love the feel in the hands . Taps up pretty well but not as well as the other 3 just yet but after a bit of netting will be a great bat for the weight.
Looks like iv done my winter shopping early. Got a couple more lines up. Here are a few quick pics.

I would be very interested in your thoughts on the CK22. I went to M&H and picked up a fair few. Have you used it in a net or just with a mallet? I agree on the finishing on the bats I saw but I did wonder how they would play in anger.

Favourite one Chris?

My early thoughts are not worth the price tag but that's based on finish and looks to be honest. I can't knock the pick up and balance but it does have a very Indian feel. Quite a bit of concaving but a very big bat for the weight. I have had a brief I dero net tonight with it and then wiped the face clean and I will say it does certainly go and that's what you want a bat to do. I'll review further once used in anger if it gets a run out this weekend.

The lucky 7. I asked Jake to get me one of these months ago and everything about this bat for me is perfect. I can't describe how good it feels in the hands with gloves on and tapping it up with a ball and mallet it's just superb. Jake got me an equally good oblivion e41 5 star select with I will say better grains and appearance. GN are in my book producing quality bats at the moment performance wise as the vortex also pings superbly well. But for the all round package the lucky 7 is my favourite of this lot.
I will add more and better pics but I'm trying to use photo bucket app on iPhone at moment as iPad batter is dead and left charger at the Mrs house so once back I'll get more images up.

Just updated this with better pics.
Used the Vortex last weekend on Sat. Must say very impressed. The one thing that stood out was the pick up was superb and for a bat straight out the wrapper it played very nicely. It was a little damp so decided against the luck 7. The vortex has quite a high middle which aids pick up & balance. Performance was very good with a few shots I wasn't sure I had timed finding the boundary.
On the the lucky 7. As you can see minimal concaving on this bat. I believe this was made in Robertsbridge which would explain the quality of finish. Also weighed this at Salix this morning and was just under 2.9 in weight so huge for the weight. The handle is quite thin so I'll add a single chevron grip and wil be perfect.
