From what I can see it is repairable you could try PVA but I have found if you can sealing with penetrative heated glue works best followed by clamping sanding and buffing.

Are those cracks only on the back of the bat? If they extend through to the face then that might be big trouble. Do you know what might have caused these cracks? Never seen random cracks on the back of a bat before but then again i'm no expert.

Buy two new ones mate!

Not really sure from the pictures of that, but cracks just appearing on the back isn't ever good news buddy...

The bats has had always had what looked like the cracks down the back (not as long or as open like they are now), i asked the bat maker about them was told I should play fine and no cause a problem yet gave me a significant discount and stuck the tape across the back hence it is under the stickering.
Any bat makers could you explain why there could be hairline cracks on the back of a bat in manufacturer?

In fairness, everything is repairable, its whether the repair job will last and in this case i dont think it wil

I am no expert but what I don't understand is why this bat was purchased after noticing the cracks? Even with significant discount should someone buy a bat with cracks!!!??? Unless the seller knew there could be trouble why should he stick tape across the back? Can't you go back to the seller and ask him to repair it (assuming it was bought not long ago)?

Was bought just under a year ago but only used in the last month or so. Will take it back and see what is said. It was mentioned when I asked about them but was told they shouldnt be an issue! never mind we live and learn.

How about the bats performance...do you notice anything funny in the sound or impact when hitting the ball?

Outside half of the bat is fine but the inside where the cracks are it sounds dead and doesn't respond as well as the outer half.

Yikes. That's never a good sign bud. I'd take that bat back where it came from. Clearly those cracks are not just a cosmetic thing and are affecting the performance.
