Well.. you know the drill you dont need a new bat you have plently...
but then u see something that u simply cant say no to!
I popped round to Ryans the other day after training and he showed me what he had been upto in his shed... ohhhh urrrrr :o.
What i was presented with was 2 lovely big bats at the same weight!
one of them i simply had to have!
so here they are
one with purple handle is mine...
white one is one of our team mates!

What weight are these two? They look great, love the shape
-
Both are 2.11
-
Bats look good, love the black and purple combo.
-
Welcome back Simmy.
Your work is a panacea to the grainy photos we mere camera phone wielding mortals post on here.
Ryan - these look awesome. Top stuff.
-
Ryan's finishing seems to be getting better and better... Pity we don't see too many on here lately
-
Simmy has lost an oz! - normally takes a 2'12 minimum. Do I spy a duck billed toe?
Massive oversight from Simdog with no toe up shot to see the concaving. Pull yourself together lol

Cheers mate, i haven't been as busy this season due to breaking my leg (6 months goes very quickly). I'll be posting more as i get busier over the next few months.

Nice bats and great pictures. The purple grip one looks awesome.
-
Quality looking pair of sticks there, long flowing shape which I like in a bat.
Good luck with them, no excuse if you don't get a shed load of runs next season!
-
Nice shapes.
-
Definitely prefer the shape of Simmy's. Lovely looking bat.
-
Oh wow, these are truly remarkable.
Ryan, great work and lovely livery as well. Really like white handle profile.
-
Great shapes and the finishing looks really good too!
-
Thanks for the nice comments guys, I've been working hard on a few things which have made a big improvement so really happy with how these have come out...Back in the shed though as I've a few more to churn out this weekend.
-
Got to give Ryan his just rewards his finish in my eye is up their with the best I have seen and I mean anybody.
-
I'd agree - and all this on one leg!
The shoulderless bat he did for me is a right ping-bugger!!!

I'm not legless anymore, we'll except Saturday nights :p
Thanks fattus, can't really take credit for the ping...its all down to the pressing.

.......and of course the sublime timing of the batting athlete at the other end of it.
