Simple Question - who makes the best looking bat covers ?
Post images if possible please.
-
Wilkie on here!
Will get some pictures of some of the ones he's done for me when it's not the middle of the night!

Wilkie is up there for all your custom requirements! I use the GM full length padded covers. Do the job nicely and reckon I'll continue to use bat covers for the foreseeable future, never bothered before.

What's Wilkie ?
-
Apologies, if you don't know about it then you wouldn't know what we're even talking about!
Wilkie is a member on here who designs his own covers for your cricket equipment from a variety of materials. From what I have seen he's made them for sets of gloves, pads, helmets, bat etc.
If you use the search engine on here, type in "Soft Pockets" and there will no doubt be a variety of threads available for you to have a look at. Very reasonably priced as well.

H4L or Affinity full padded bat covers for me or Affinity's neoprene sleeve cover which doesn't cover the handle...
Look at their respective websites... all top quality!
-
Have yourself a flick through this thread mate, something great on every page! It's an exhibition of Wilkies sublime levels of craftsmanship, enjoy!

I have to admit i will not pay over £10 for a bat cover no matter what.
Call me cheap the bat can sit in the front of the car with me and i will carry it to games and put it back in the car when I'm done.
Proper take bat and ball home stuff!!!

I agree with you 100%. .. Those stretton fox bat sleeves are more expensive than most people would shell out for a bat.

I have a soft pocket for my box.

I really like the soft pockets, that reminds me...Thomas, I need some more!!!
-
I'm thinking leopardskin, tiger print or red and white hoops.
Or for you Northern lads a meat pie in a repeating pattern.
-
Imagine having a bat cover that costs more than your damn bat...the funny thing is I'm sure there's people willing to buy that crap too.
Bat covers in my opinion are a luxury item bat makers toss in for free to make you feel better about shelling out big bucks on their bat. Nothing more.
-
The GN blade bat covers do the job for me and are pretty cheap over here. I haven't got a bat cave on my bag so always have a cover

Mr Soft Pocket should double layer them and put some sponge or foam in them to offer better protection.

I've got a Neoprene SAF one, does the job and looks pretty swish i think.
But how much for a Stretton Bat Sleeve? Nearly choked on my tea when i saw that! Do people really pay that much? Love to hear if anyone has actually bought one.

The SAF one looked lovely, i'm sure Marcus (Affinity) has a similar one too.

I have already made a few samples and made Smiley some with foam in the middle of two layers. I will see if I have pictures on my photobucket

I am sure Louis Vuitton will do a custom one for you if you ask nicely and pay them loads of money.
Got some reasonably decent Woodworm ones of bay for a quid each. I will see if I can get a pic
-
I've got 4 Affinity neoprene bat skins, they are really good. I use them in my CK22 duffle and they protect the bats perfectly. The new gold lettered ones look awesome too
-
H4L have some really good bat cover, will post some pictures soon
-
I don't think spending 15 bucks on a bat cover should be considered outrageous when a bunch of you carry around 5 plus bats... Nothing wrong with protecting your investment in a nice looking package.
-
Affinity bat covers are really top quality and worth the money
They have one of the best padding for bat covers that I have seen
