Evening All,
As you may know, I have already put posts up about our October visits, namely Newbery, Chase and H4L, but haven't even whispered about our November/early December visits yet, which include:
1. Millichamp & Hall
2. Gray-Nicolls
3. Kookaburra
4. Slazenger
5. Spartan
Like the October visits, we will be able to hand-pick a bat exactly to your specs, and will only ask for an £80 deposit upfront, but unlike the others, we are offering PRE-ORDER DISCOUNTS for these brands, as follows:
Pre-Orders received in October: 12.5% + free knocking-in
Pre-Orders received in November: 7.5%

N.B. These deposits are REFUNDABLE. If, for whatever reason, we cannot find a bat that perfectly matches the specs you send us, we will simply give you your money back! :) See it as my personal guarantee that you get what you pay for! :)
The dates for these visits haven't been confirmed yet, but they are likely to be in mid-late November, with maybe one in early December. We will keep you all updated, and no matter what, we will definitely be able to get your bat to you in time for Christmas! :)

I know! Completely agree. We have not ordered any, and have no intention of ever stocking any, but for completeness, I felt I needed to include it! We can still get a Legend if anyone wants one. I dunno, maybe the split and spread payments makes it more affordable?! ;)

Good question, Iain - I am not entirely sure. However, what I do know is that the Bubble wasn't quite the success they expected it to be this year, so I was a little surprised to see it returning at all. My hunch is that they only offer LB in their most popular lines, or at least what they think will be the most popular...

Like with the Gray-Nicolls and Kookaburra bats, these prices are just our standard ones before any discounts have been applied. If you pre-order one of these bats in October, you can take 12.5% off and get free knocking-in. Customers outside of the EU can take 16.67% off (due to VAT) and then 12.5% on top of that if they pre-order in October... :)
All of these bats will be hand-picked by us from the Slazenger warehouse in Wigan in late November/early December.

All the new Kook bats are a bit different to the Impulse, and the profile shapes have much more variety for 2015, but I'd say the Kahuna is the most similar. As you can see from the prices I gave, the Kahuna is available in LB in the 550, 900 and 1500 grades...

Been on the beach far too much recently which has meant I haven't been able to comment on this. I'm most dissapointed that I'll miss what would have been my first trip to Slazenger and obviously Gray Nics.
I'm also particularly interested to see which of the Prestige or the M and H International sells best. Not to mention the Slazenger old school ranges. If you love yourbretro gears then this is a good time for you!

M&H International costs a lot more, Chris (so the Prestige has a bit of an advantage there)! But I agree, the International was a highlight from Lord's, so can't wait to pick some of these over in Taunton! :)

I still find it hard to figure out how we are expected to pre order something we have never seen,a so the manufacturers don't allow pics to be released.
The h4l tempo 2, never seen before, so how would we have pre ordered that?

Kook gear, is still only crap promo pics about.
Why is it only gm and gn that have the sense to release a catalogue and let people see the actually products? And everyone else play secret squirrel while they lose out on pre orders?

I agree that it must be difficult to place a pre-order without knowing much about the bats on offer! I, too, am also frustrated by the lack of images and delayed launch from brands such as M&H, but if anyone is even vaguely interested in placing a pre-order with us, you can just PM me and I will describe all the bats available privately with prices etc. I just can't post photos publicly yet.

Lots of lovely Gray-Nicolls bats picked today - I felt the standard was especially high on this visit and they had a very good stock of bats in, allowing for all pre-orders to be sourced exactly to the desired specs. Bats should be in our store within the next few days...
