My bat cracked from the toe so had to take off the shoe goo to repair. Tomorrow is the final game of the season i.e. I don't have enough time for shoe goo to cure. It's expected to rain overnight so surface will be damp.
What can I use instead of shoe goo for toe protection for one game only. I would need to take it off to tend to the bat at the end of the season regardless.
OR
Is there a way to get the shoe goo to cure faster ?
Thanks

PVA glue mate
Then sand it off and re-apply the shoe goo

But the shoe goo wouldn't have dried by tommorrow morning.

This, sorry I didn't make it clearer!
Get some quick cure PVA on the toe now, should be dry in an hour.
That will cover you tomorrow. Then you can sand the PVA off and re-apply the shoe goo.
Alternatively (and probably easier) put some tape on covering the toe for tomorrow, as good a short term fix as any!
