What is the best scuff sheet for protecting the bat face? I have heard about this helicopter rotor protector sheet but don't know how to get it. Any pointers?

Bulldog cricket sell it. I started off swearing by scuff sheets, but have now converted to oiling the face and a little bit of tape on the edges.
If you worry about the weight of your bat, just remember that a scuff sheet will add an oz or two!

Yeah, that's the heaviest I've seen anyways. The helicopter ones are about half an ounce I think. :)

It is a 2-13 bat (Amplus) without the scuff sheet...

Mate, regardless of the weight originally you're unlikely to notice the difference a scuff sheet would make.
It's so minimal and evenly distributed it;s not really worth mentioning in my mind, its just something for the pinickity to worry about haha

Hehe. Ok.

I am worried because it's a brand-new bat and it is showing small cracks on the face. It is pinging beautifully but I don't want to take it to the nets without any face protection.
-
only reason I say it is because I've just been to warsop to pick up a new bat. they cut off a scuff sheet off the roll and stuck it on the scales. was just over and oz.

If it's actually a M&H Amplus the it was 2.10 naked before stickers, grip etc as they give naked weights of there bats.
