Title: Michael Clarke's Bat
Post by: InternalTraining on October 18, 2014, 04:29:49 PM
Folks,

I am curious about Michael Clarke's bat. How much does it weigh? Who really makes it?

Any info? Thanks.

I am not sure but Spartan MC is made in India though i guess spartan initially started from Australia. Someone can shed proper light on this.

When I was at b3 they had a Clarke made profile ready to go. Believe they may have made some bats for him but don't know how many/if they were used

There is a Clarke bat at b3. not that impressive and picks up fairly heavy. finch bat was battered and banana shaped it was that bowed

He does not look like a big muscular guy and he does face quicks very well. I was expecting his bat to be very light, kind of like Ricky Ponting's bat.

It makes sense that Finch uses a bowed bat, he plays aerial shots.

I might be wrong, but a bat bows naturally through use too, no?

Yes most Spartan bats are made in India but these players get bats from everywhere and they use what they like with the sponsored company's sticker applied.

Finch bat is not that bowed the version in the shop is the sample which i have to admit i have the original is not so but as somebody says the bowing does occur  naturally if you hit the ball as many time in the middle as he does..

I picked up one of his rejected blades at Uzi.  Beautiful stick. HUGE middle, picked up pretty well just maybe an once heavy for me!  None the less quite light but not the lightest
