Sausage fingered gloves are yummy!
-
is it possible to see the gloves close up as i do like the look of the first pair with the silver stripe across them
-
Yes pictures coming mate I like the shark tooth but as always sausage finger all the way for me.
-
Those gloves look quality
-
With Russ on board, you would expect quality soft gear.
Surprised why it took so long!
Lovely softs they are, very nice.
-
The sausage fingers are excellent as are the Shark tooth (very light but top quality protection!) and the pads are incredibly light for the protection offered.
There maybe one or two changes yet but on the whole we are very happy!!
-
what's the weight of the pads?
-
Pads are 874g
-
Pads are 874g
nice looking gear and should match well with rest of kit, hope it is within price range of most
at 874g, not really "incredibly light" though
-
In terms of the protection offered and quality of materials they are.

looks like high density foam below the knee roll, and cane in the top-hat? or is there also cane below the knee roll?
-
I like the look of the sausage gloves, the straps on the pads remind me of GM though with the stripes.

They pick up well :D
In fairness there a great pad and as Rich as said there top protection and great quality products. I have tried many and these are as good as any i have used and i have used a hell of a lot.
The colour are the neutral colours so you can use with all our sticker combo.
For me our soft have moved up a couple of gears and the old ones where not bad at all.
Look at most of the pro quality pads and there around this weight which is still light

No, infact they are all cane
-
Looking forward to some more detailed pictures, if there anything as good as Dave mentioned at the event then they will be top drawer
-
No, infact they are all cane
in that case these pads are indeed remarkably light.

Come on mate i know softs well but not compared to the master Russell Evans our soft's where always going to be great he has designed many for Indian brands and many of the designs you see today are from this him.
-
give them to me ill take some pics :P
-
Better pictures to come tomorrow we have gone for a less shiny logo mind..
In time for Crimbo

As i said proper pictures to come no pittards palms.
Build quality as good as anything out on the market.
-
Nice looking softs but im out on the basis of no option of pittard palms on the gloves, that doesnt make them as good as the top end newbery gloves.
-
Why does everyone give rave reviews to pittard palms?
I can't see what's so great about them, and personally prefer "normal" palms
-
For me they seem to grip better, breath better, and stay softer for longer.
All personal choice but I've always used top end gloves like the Newbery sps1 and I love them. The calf leather isn't too bad but they just didn't last long enough when I tried it, and I didn't like the feel.
-
Not a fan off pittard. Give me sweat issues other palms don't.

Not from my experience but i guess where all different. I prefer soft sheepskin leather myself

Dave, you're a man with fine taste!
That's my preference too, can't go wrong with them :D
