Hey guys, this is my new bat for upcoming season, as always i applied 3 coats of oil and after some weeks applied hammer antiscuff sheet, now i can see some dark spots on the bat and there are some bubbles in the scuff sheet, also tried to apply bat tape to the toe and it doesnt stick...
Is this a over oiling situation??? if is so how i can deal with it...

Remove the scuff sheet, remove all adhesive from face and edges using an old credit card. Using fine and then very fine sand paper sand the face and edges, early on you will see sand paper highlight areas where glue is left behind so take a credit card and remove more, once you are happy there is no glue left and face looks whitish take a damp piece of paper towel and clean it, has to be miniscule amout of water on the paper towel. then put on a new scuff sheet...
this could be due to over oiling or really poor quality scuff sheet

My guess is that you oiled the edges, and it spread some of that horrid dark ink from the logos and "dynamic". I wouldn't worry about it too much.
If you need to stick some tape, first sand the exposed area a bit and then let it dry overnight.

Nope, she looks terminal to me: time for a new bat! :)

I think this is spot on.

I too think this is spot on. 3 coats of oil on a new bat is the norm really
