Evening all,
I got one of the 606s' from the bargains section. After a Hermes delay (surprise surprise) it has arrived. It is pressed the hardest of anything I have seen but I do really like the shape and the pick up. It comes in lighter than I usually use which is always nice. When you consider it is 49.50 delivered it is a fair bargain. A-lot of heartwood but it is 606 so I did not expect this many grains and do not mind the heartwood. pics to follow.

Does anybody know what a stamped EG in the handle of the bat mean? or a pencil S?
Cheers!

not sure about the writing, but you have yourself a bargain there.
use it through the winter and it will be a real go-er by the summer

Give it some decent mallet work Mae over the winter and by the time nets/matches come round will be fine, I have a GN original that iv netted with for hours and it's only just starting to tell like it's opening up, but when you middle it it does ping.
