Just moved to Melbourne from the UK, want to try and find a team that so I can start playing asap! Does Nyone have any clubs they know of or any connections to clubs? Thanks in advance!
-
Unfortunately no mate. Sorry.
St kilda were always good from memory!

Where are you based?
If you want to play turf cricket in the metro area you need to be looking at Victorian sub-district cricket association (VSDCA) or victorian turf cricket association (VTCA)

Might worth a PM to Fros23 who from the UK and playing cricket in Melbourne for 6 months. I have his details if you need them?

Where abouts are you in Melbourne? I can put you in touch with Carlton cricket club, i know a few people there, we've had overseas from there and some of our youngsters have played there. Also know some players from plenty cricket club a bit further out of the city. Just depends where you are based.

About 5 minutes north of the cbd mate. I've got in contact with a club called royal park Brunswick and they seem happy to have me!

I was going to play for port Melbourne until plans changed a few years ago. Seemed a great set up and don't think they are too far from you, not totally sure though. Worth checking them out

Cricket Australia have a site for finding clubs for kids and seniors. You just put in the postcode. Its mainly for kids, but they did say in a radio interview it covers seniors too.
