Going to buy new spikes for next year, which would people pick from nike dominates or Adidas vectors? Looking for people's experience
-
Well, both are red, so there isn't much to choose there.
The vectors look very cool but did have quite high failure rate last year. This year they are reported to be improved but the proof will be in the pudding. I have worn the Nikes for the last season and a half and cannot fault them. The looks are not everyone's cup of tea but I really like them.
Ultimately if you discount potential reliability issues (if buying from us you'll get looked after properly if anything goes wrong) then either shoe will be a great choice.

Will there be any on this seasons left over do you think jake? As I much prefer the blue to red
-
Nike are still available in certain sizes.adidas sold out long ago unfortunately.

personally i think the Adidas 22yd is a better boot. I've been an opening bowler for 25 years and its the best I've had. And I got it cheap as i found the Punjabi electric yellow version. Takes 3-4 weeks to break in, at first i thought id picked the wrong shoe. Its all totally personal I know.

Nike are really comfy. Find they also deal with a wider foot better.

i have a pear of asics gel speed menace and there the best cricket shoes i've ever worn. but if your set on those two id go with the addidas

Ok, next question, can you bat in the Adidas, I'm only a part time bowler. My mate has the Adidas and they look fine to bat in but what is other people's opinion?
-
Many international players, including some non bowlers fielded and batted in them this year, they are fine :)

Thanks jake. Much appreciated
