Nice little gig, both of pundity and then a few months of the year coaching in the IPL

Given his less than stellar t20 career I'm a little surprised. Still he has tremendous experience and maybe the role is more about game management than technique.

Must be they have had the likes of Anil Kumble, VVS Laxman coaching/mentoring various IPL teams. Excellent opportunity for youngsters to work along side Ponting.

Spot on a great opportunity to learn from one of the best 3 bats of modern times.
I've got his master classes on sky saved as KEEP, the mrs is under strict instructions not to remove them.
