Title: My Custom X3 and Pyro Gloves
Post by: i12breakfree on December 15, 2014, 01:08:04 PM
Here's my custom X3 along with Pyro gloves.
First of all the service from John was second to none. He responded timely to all my questions and delivered the product as expected.

The Pyro gloves are top quality gloves - cannot beat the sale price.
They fit in very well and have quality padding. Minor details like the shape of velcro strap that has red ink written on it gives a nice style to the gloves.
Highly recommended.

For the bat - i did not want to spend too much money so went for the grade 3 option. I picked up a grainy cleft with slightly wavy grains .
For the shape i asked for the was the Salix supernatural as posted by @IWTUK in the Salix thread.
weight 2-11 and mid-extended sweet spot.

Here are the pics

The bat weighs at 2-11.1 , has a full profile as desired, finishing is top quality. The pickup is also very good .
The bat does feel a little hard in small areas (may be because of grade 3 willow) and needs knocking in. I started the knocking yesterday and will post a review later.

Nice shape mate.  Also nice looking for a grade 3.  What was price for bat and gloves if you don't mind me asking?

The red ink sale prices were 100 for x3 bat and 30 for pyro gloves . I am not sure if the sale is still going on. Please check with John from red ink on that.

There is no off season here in south florida. This is one of the best time of the year weather wise.
Its a another thing that i am not playing any cricket these days  busy with work and family. Hope to start back soon. Till then will keep knocking my bats :)
