A question about the design process. When the Germans were designing their famously shaped helmet they got a big bowl and basically cut away where you needed to be able to see and left the rest! That design remains albeit in different materials but the same principal is there! Is that the sort of thing that happened to you or something else?

The same basis on which my mum used to cut my hair!!
