Title: Impala Impresion Pro
Post by: cd0070 on November 18, 2009, 02:55:18 PM
"Three rods have been placed in the bat's cross-section regions of the toe, middle and high middle which enhance and prolongs the lifetime play of the bat."

Anyone use this? seems interesting..

I believe so, they have dropped the Redback though. They got into a bit of legal trouble with that one and South Australia.

I emailed them a few days ago, got a response last night.. Their top bats range around the $700AD and shipping to the USA was about $140AD.. Thats close $800USD or 485GBP...

Those price are crazy!!  :o :o

I don't understand how they can afford to sell at that price.. I mean Screaming Cat's Professional would be cheaper (includes more stuff too), every batmaker on the forum sells for cheaper and their bats are amazing.. I just can't justify paying that much for a bat when so many other options are available for so much cheaper..

The company pretty much went bankrupt werent selling that well and im 99% sure they sold off all there machinery to KG Sports in sydney. I could be slightly off with that though.

To be honest from what I saw the quality wasnt spectacular in there last few years and those bats with the wholes from the top were nothing special. Im sure a custom made for $700 would be brilliant, But i wouldnt say itd be any better than too many other customs you see on this forum
