We have had a few of these for a little while but have been unable to find time to let you guys know, been very busy!
A few of you have sniffed out the Assegai 3 Stars we have, which for £100 are fantastic, but don't forget the Impi or Assegai 5 Star, the quality and value for money of both at £210 is incredible in my opinion. Here is a quick rundown on a few of my favourites from our current stock.
All these Assegai 3 Stars ( i have even more but couldn't lean them against anything long enough!) between 2'8 and 2'9.

These two Impis are wonderful, 2'10 on the right and 2'11 on the left.

Assegai 5 Stars at just over 2'10 (both with scuff sheets pre fitted which adds a little weight)

Have plenty more stock, just found a spare 5 minutes to share some of my personal favourites from the new range. Softs, duffles and GP274 stuff all to come yet, it will be big year for B&S!

Hey Jake...
Would love to know if there's much difference on the amount of concaving and whether the spines extend down to the toe or not on the 3 star Assegais?
Just curious as I picked one up recently from you but when comparing with another forum member on here there seemed to be slight differences...
Do love the look of the Impi and 5 star Assegais but need to see how the 3 star compares to my Affinity and H4L bats first....

Most of them are this sort of profile, similar to yours if i recall. A couple that we had in late last week have slightly less concaving, fromthehips photos are the ones you are talking about i assume? He had one of the ones with less concaving, a bit of a one off more than anything. As i said, most will be to the profile pictured above.
100 more coming over from SA soon, will post details on their profiles when they arrive if there are any differences.

Thanks Jake.. the pictured one is very similar to mine... and 'fromthehip's' one is less concaved... no biggy.. just curious to see how a more concaved bat feels in action compared to all my other bats....I think the pressing on mine is superb with the response on some light knocking... can't wait to get into nets....

They look an absolute bargain for £100 !!! And having used B&S on and of for the last two years I can say with total confidence they are great bats and the bat pressing is second to none as of the mallet new they are up there with the best like the Grey Nicolls Legend and Gunn and Moore LE bats.

It's all here now, and wow what a range.

I can confirm the value and quality ;)

I can second the quality and value!

Do like the Assegai gloves

Hi Guys.
Are B & S still made in SA or are they being made out of India now? Those 3 stars look awesome. Those would be OLE if they were GM's.

@potzy248
No B&S bats are made in India. There is more info here: http://www.bellinghamandsmith.co.uk/about/our-bats/ (http://www.bellinghamandsmith.co.uk/about/our-bats/)
The only difference this year is the GP274, Tim Keeley has kindly offered to not only make the GP274 bats, but to put his name to them as well.

Those 3 stars have got to be the best value bats going. No brainer especially if you are one a budget.
I'd agree with that. Have a lovely example which is unused but surplus to requirements as have a GP274 and an Aldred for this season. Had it listed on Ebay last week and was very surprise when I never got a bid! Started it at £70 so would have been a real bargain for someone. Thought one of the CBF members would have snapped it up!

Don;t mind telling you I had a good hard look at it Andy - it did look really lovely!
-
It's a lovely looking bat, especially at the price B&S sell them at. My GP274 has been going really well in nets and the Aldred I have is a great bat so this bat won't get used this season. I sold a few bits on Ebay, the unfortunate thing is I know I'll be too tempted to spend some of the money on another bat! :-[

I was going to bid on that B and Smith on e bay for £70 or buy a new one, but I just won a Gray Nicolls Maverick LE on e bay for £55 last night. If it turns out to be a little lacking I will be back to offer on that B&S or get a new one from Vitas

55 quid for an LE! That is ridiculous
