Title: Too much gear!!

I have acquired far too much gear recently and it's time to get rid of some before the wife kills me! Since joining CBF less than 3 months ago it has hardly helped my cricket equipment habit and I've bought an Aldred Grade 2 Xmas offer bat and have B&S GP274 bat, pads & gloves, B&S Assegai 3 star bat and B&S wheelie bag on way. This is more than enough gear for next season so the rest has to go!

At one point of the summer I had 4 helmets :o My softs collection still needs reducing

Post by: Andythomo21 on December 26, 2014, 10:59:00 PM: No sensible reason at all. You'll find that some people on here arnt all that sensible when it comes to cricket gear! Also several of the bats, pads and gloves are ones I've owned and used over the years and just kept.

Can only say, although it might be deemed as blasphemous to some, that 4-5 bats is enough for any one season on the basis you may break one or two or pass onto team mates.

That means you can keep buying/replacing bats on a regular basis which is what I love to do mainly due to what I see here on this forum......
