If it is true that the ca plus range, 5k, 8k, 10k (excluding 12k as it is supposed to be g1+) are all g1 why are they all different prices with the 5k cheapest then 8k and so on?

I think it has to do with no of grains and the amount of blemishes

According to CA -
CA Plus 12000
Prepared from Specially Selected Unique English Willow Clefts
Performance Better than Grade One
Generally 9 and above Clean Grains
CA Plus 10000
Hand Crafted, Specially Selected English Willow, Super Best Quality
With 8 to 14 Straight Grains
CA Plus 8000
Hand Crafted, Specially Selected Grade 1 English Willow
With Maximum Straight Grains
CA Plus 5000
Hand Crafted, Specially Selected English Willow
Clear Face with Maximum Straight Grains
I guess you can read into it however you like for most of them! But I'd say the 12000 & 10000 are G1+, 8000 is G1, 5000 is G2.
