Title: Useing spikes indoors
Post by: fromthehip on January 01, 2015, 09:20:25 AM
As I've got some new nikes it was thinking about putting in the rubber spike and using them indoors
Then put spikes back for outdoor nets games come April
Anyone else do this and does it work

Tried it once I was like bambi on ice!

I'd stick with your trainers indoors.

Yeah I used the rubber stops for my Asics shoes when training indoors, massive waste of time, they needed replacing after 1-2 sessions, so you're best off wearing trainers or buying a pair of rubber spiked shoes specially for indoor use. Keep an eye out for  previous season models, I saved $70 on my Asics Gel Advance (RRP $190, got them for $120)...

I bought a pair of tennis shoes just for indoor/astro nets.  Comfy!
